“When we feel love, our mind is expansive and open enough to include the entirety of life in full awareness, both its pleasures and its pains. We feel neither betrayed by pain nor overcome by it, and thus we can contact that which is undamaged within us regardless of the situation.”

– Sharon Salzberg

Resting as Loving Awareness:
A Free Call with Sharon Salzberg

For over fifty years, Sharon Salzberg has been exploring what it actually means to practice – not in a cave in isolation, but right here, in the middle of daily life. Join her for a live conversation and Q&A on Thursday, March 19th at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT.

On this call, she’ll guide us through Loving Awareness practices: a simple, quiet shift from a thinking mind to an open heart. Not bypassing what’s hard, but meeting what’s here with more steadiness and care.

This call is free and includes live guided practice and Q&A.

Something about this moment asks more of us. Practice is one powerful way to answer.

On this free, live call with Q&A, you’ll explore:

🔸 Shifting identification from the thinking mind to the open heart – and what makes that shift feel real

🔸 The practices of lovingkindness and loving awareness as something workable in ordinary, difficult life

🔸 What gets in the way, and how to meet it with care rather than resistance

🔸 Live guided meditation with Sharon

🔸 Open Q&A

Can’t make it live? Register anyway! We will send you a replay of the call after it ends.

We live in overwhelming times. There's so much coming at us, so much pulling at our attention, that it can be hard to remember what we already know.

And yet something in you does remember how to feel what’s real. That part hasn’t gone anywhere.

Practice isn’t about having the answers. It’s about quieting down the noise long enough to hear what’s already there – so that we can show up for ourselves and others with clarity, compassion and ease.

That’s what these ten days are for.

“Even though, ultimately, there is merger and union and One and the eternal presence and God is formless and all of that, the methods of climbing the mountain are many.”

On this call, she guides us through Loving Awareness practices: a simple, quiet shift from a thinking mind to an open heart. Not bypassing what’s hard, but meeting what’s here with more steadiness and care.

This course is built around practice first - with teachings to support and deepen what you're discovering along the way. Ram Dass always said there are many paths up the mountain. These ten days are an invitation to find what actually works for you.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to practice without mystery or intimidation – just simple, honest, workable methods
  • That there are many entry points, and yours is the right one for where you are right now
  • How to honor the full range of paths – meditative, devotional, embodied, relational
  • How to hold discipline lightly, with compassion for yourself along the way
  • How to build something that actually sticks, in the middle of a real life
  • That awakening isn’t about fixing yourself, it’s about remembering who you already are
