Women’s Satsang: Open Mic Night

Dear Wonderful Women,

As we celebrate four beautiful years of our gathering, I am delighted to extend a heartfelt invitation to each of you to join us for a very special event: a Women’s Open Mic Night Celebration!

Over the years, we have shared laughter, tears, wisdom, and support in our exploration of the teachings of Ram Dass. Now, it’s time to shine a spotlight on the incredible gifts and talents that each of you brings to our circle.

This month, we will come together virtually for an evening of inspiration, creativity, and connection. This will be a space for you to share your unique offerings inspired by Ram Dass – whether it’s a meditation, a chant, a movement practice, or any other expression of love and devotion.

Imagine the magic that will unfold as we witness and celebrate the diverse expressions of our shared journey! Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or you’re a newcomer, your presence and participation are deeply valued and cherished.

This will be an open and supportive environment where each woman can shine her light brightly. If you feel called to share a piece of your heart with us, please let me know by signing up on this google form by June 14th, and we will add you to the lineup. If you’d rather be a joyful spectator, we welcome you with open arms to witness and cheer on your sisters as they take the virtual stage.

Women’s Satsang Mission Statement

The Women’s Satsang has been formed to help cultivate heart connection and allyship among people within the Ram Dass Community who identify as women, whether cisgender, non-conforming, or non-binary women. As an autonomous group, our purpose is 

• to deepen into the teachings of Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba from a female perspective

• to foster connection and mutual empowerment within the Ram Dass Community, and 
• bring forward the wisdom of women for the benefit of all beings and the earth.

Our Values include:

• Lovingkindness

• Honoring relationality and inclusivity

• Allowing for ambiguity and mystery

• Celebrating the light as well as the dark, embodiment as well as ascension

• Blessing the web of interbeing that connects us all

• Respecting people over performances
