BIPOC Satsang: Maharajii’s Great Escape — And Ours

On September 11th 1973 Maharajii left his body and “died.” Prior to leaving this plane Maharajii seemed ecstatic, gay, and full of humor. “I am released from central jail forever” — a statement he made shortly before his death. What important lessons are to be learned from Maharajii’s great escape? This month we honor Maharajii’s life and death by diving deep into how he lived in, and let go of his “body.” As a group of devotees connected by the unique bodies we have been born into this go around, this feels particularly important. As we too hope to escape the limitations that have been placed on us as people of color. Come join us as we collectively conspire our own jail break here and now.
