BIPOC Satsang: The Power of Storytelling on Winter Solstice
December 19, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm PST

Winter Solstice is a special time of year that marks the symbolic death of the sun and rebirth into a new cycle of life. Many cultures around the world celebrate and rejoice at this time as they welcome the light back in. Our December call intends to celebrate and share our unique stories as warriors on the path to illumination. Ram Dass was known for his descriptive and captivating story sharing abilities. For this gathering, we turn the mic over to you to share your story. Storytelling is a powerful means of transformation for not only the listener, but for the person preparing to tell. We invite vulnerability and the fullness of your truth for this special end of the year call. Participants are invited to share a moment you experienced a pivot, transmutation, or realization (big or small) from this last year. You could also share with the group a story that has impacted your life such as a story you heard as a child from your elder, a story you heard that has stayed with you, it can be a personal non-fiction story about something that happened to you, or it can be a story that you wrote. You could also share a poem, song or dance. See you around the fire.
For those who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color.
