Cultivating the Courage to Love

Welcome

Thanks for your participation in The Ram Dass Fellowship (RDF). We're excited for this opportunity to support budding satsangs all over the globe with the teachings of Ram Dass and the unconditional love of Neem Karoli Baba.

This page is the hub for all the materials we're providing for your local meetups and social media outreach. Below we will elaborate a bit more on the process, and how we'll stay connected.

Session 6

Using Vulnerability as a Tool for Cultivation.

As a way to get familiar with the series before your Meetup, we recommend this session with Ram Dass, Duncan Trussell and Raghu Markus

This discussion features Ram Dass, Duncan Trussell and Raghu Markus talking about honesty and vulnerability as essential elements for cultivating the courage to Love. Ram Dass reflects on his own life and former habitual tendency to tell white lies.

Duncan Trussell talks about how terrifying yet desperately yearned for what unconditional love is. Duncan asks Ram Dass to respond to the question, “How do you love the part of yourself that hates yourself?”

RDF Meetup Guidelines

  • The scope and scale of your local RDF Meetup all depends on you and your particular community. The intention is to create a space for people to gather and share their curiosity of life under the umbrella of Ram Dass' teachings and Maharajji.

  • Download the RDF Meetup Guide PDF for the details of the suggested sequence for your local RDF Meetup.

  • The videos that should be shown at the 1st RDF Meetup are included here for stream or download, as well as in the PDF. The link will take you to DropBox and you download it from there.

  • The Meetup should be scheduled to happen by end of May.

  • Your local RDF Meetup should include a potluck (before/after the video & meditation) OR kirtan. Or both! Either way they don't have to be elaborate.

  • Join the Ram Dass Fellowship Facebook Community. Stay tuned for the invite via email or Facebook.

  • Sharing Love Serve Remember Foundation (LSRF) news and offerings via social media is a big part of how you'll be interacting with your communities. Any posts that should be shared will be uploaded to the RDF Facebook community for easy access and sharing.

  • Be sure to collect the emails of RDF Meetup participants, so you can share this Meetup Links page after the event. This includes all the media from the meetup and other suggested articles, podcasts, and videos from LSRF.

  • This is a pilot program, we encourage any questions, comments or feedback to help us make The Ram Dass Fellowship an enriching experience for all.
