BIPOC Satsang: Cracking Our Hearts Open
March 16 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm PDT

We are often told to forgive and forget. However, it’s so much easier said than done. Didn’t Maharajji say “Love, serve, and remember”? We remember the pain, the hurt, the disappointment, the letdowns, the betrayal, the heartbreak, the [insert here]. How could we ever forget? But somewhere deep down we know the energy it takes to hold on hurts us more than those who did the hurting. Ram Dass has said that “righteousness is not liberation. It is known as the golden chain.” So what does it mean to want to be free more than you want to be right? To unchain ourselves from the allure of knowing in our bones that we were right and they wrong? Maybe it isn’t about forgetting then. But rather being open to having our hearts cracked open again and again to the beautiful horror of it all. Join us in community to explore how we might learn to forgive others and ourselves as we stumble along the path like the toddlers we are, figuring out how exactly we might do this human thing better than we did the day before.
Join us on Sunday, March 17th at 5:00 pm PT / 8:00 pm ET as we seek the path together.
We look forward to seeing you there!
