Women’s Satsang: Conscious Living, Dying, & Grieving With Aditi Sethi
November 19, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm PST
In the 1980’s Ram Dass, Steven Levine, and Ram Dev started the Dying Center in Sante Fe, New Mexico. It was the first residential spiritual hospice in the Western world, specifically created to support and guide its residents to a conscious death. While the center served 85 residents over 3.5 years before closing, the work around conscious death and dying continues and grows to this day.
Join Aditi Sethi, Executive Director and Founder of Center for Conscious Living & Dying, in conversation about community-supported end-of-life care. What does it mean to show up fully for one another during this vulnerable, sacred experience? What is involved? What is required of us? What support is available to us as we navigate this phase of life?
Dr. Aditi Sethi is a hospice and palliative care physician, end-of-life doula, musician, and Founder of Center for Conscious Living and Dying. Featured in the forthcoming film The Last Ecstatic Days, Aditi is an emerging and important voice for shifting our culture’s understanding and approach to dying, death, and bereavement care.
