When I was growing up, I was to be somebody, because we were all in “somebody” training in those days. So I became special, because my parents and educators wanted me to be, and they trained you how to do that. It’s called “ego structure” – inside, it felt lousy. It felt like I should be happy, but I wasn’t. The weirdness of this paradox is told in this story…
