BIPOC Satsang: Psychedelics – The great Leveler or the Great Divider?

Our August gathering will be centered on the topic of mind-altering substances. Ram Dass was known as a pioneer in the 60s for the exposure and use of psychedelics as a way to work with our ego mind and move closer to God. In this call, we will discuss the history of psychedelics and the way these substances have the potential to widen the very narrow path of our reality, revealing new perspectives to create profound shifts in consciousness. As well as the emotional traps and social dangers of such chemicals specifically as they relate to the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities.

The BIPOC Satsang has been formed to help build allyship and agency among people who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color/world majority to foster greater connection, involvement, and representation around the teaching of Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba.
