Ram Dass Women’s Circle Fellowship: “The Divine Mother”
November 15, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm PST
In our first Women’s Circle Fellowship, we will explore the theme of the Divine Mother with Mirabai Starr, Amy Buetens, Julie Weinstein, and other women in a shared leadership model.
Whether you have lived in an ashram your whole life or are just learning to meditate, we all have things to learn from each other. This is the idea behind “the next guru will be the satsang”. Those of you who are interested will have an opportunity to play a role in facilitating. Each month has a different theme and nine volunteer roles. Some roles involve reading a prepared script and some ask you to bring a reading or activity.
The Women’s Satsang has formed to strengthen allyship and loving community among people who identify as women, gender non-conforming or non-binary women, by providing a space to come together to foster greater connection, involvement, and representation around the teaching of Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba. It is a place to bring your wholeness, and all aspects of your authentic self, as we bring forward the wisdom of women for the deepening of humanity for all people and the earth. This group is not intended to be a political or outside advocacy group, therapy session, or grievance board. As an affinity group we are an integral part of creating an inclusive environment for the whole satsang.
This event is only available to those who are a part of the Ram Dass Fellowship.
Please be sure to select the “Women Only” option on the signup form. To join this fellowship, you must identify as a cis gender, non-conforming or non-binary woman.
